How did you meet your husband?

We went to the same high school and years after school we caught up through a mutual friend.

How did your partner propose to you?

On the beach in port Douglas at sunset he got down on one knee

What was your favourite part of your wedding day?

Marrying my best friend was the best part but being able to celebrate such a special day with our closest family and friends was amazing.

Did you have a theme or concept for your wedding day? What was your inspiration?

We went a rustic/timber theme for our wedding. We got married at Sutton Grange Winery and it felt like it suited the venue so well

How did you find the experience of shopping for a wedding gown?

Initially I was nervous at the thought of shopping for a dress it’s a big decision and a big part of your day. The feeling you get when you first try a dress on is amazing it doesn’t take long to know what you love and what you are comfortable in. I purchased the second dress I tried on.

What did you love about your wedding gown?

I love that as soon as I put it on I fell in love with it. I tried on other dress’ but I just kept going back to this one, It felt right. I loved the way it made me feel, the shape, the material and the lace it all just worked so well togethere.
