How did you meet your husband?

At a local football/netball club ball.

How did your partner propose to you?

On the couch at home one morning, nothing too exciting.

What was your favourite part of your wedding day?

Enjoying the celebrations with all my friends and family in the one place.

Did you have a theme or concept for your wedding day? What was your inspiration?

No theme. We decided on a destination wedding because we wanted all our friends and family to go away for the weekend and relax. It was a black tie wedding as we wanted our photos to be timeless.

 

How did you find the experience of shopping for a wedding gown?

It was quite stressful as I don’t wear white!

However the gown I wore was the second one I bought. After picking one up from a shop in Melbourne, which was altered awfully and wasn’t what I wanted to wear I went to Bendigo Bridal Collections in tears and had the most positive experience. They allowed me to try on gowns and I found the one I felt truly amazing in.

What did you love about your wedding gown?

The off the shoulder neckline and full skirt were so elegant.

Any words of wisdom for future brides?

Shop local, stress less and enjoy the day!
