Real Bride: Tiffany
Bride: Tiffany | Groom: Dale
How did you meet your husband?
We met at a mutual friend’s 21st birthday party.
How did your partner propose to you?
Dale got down on one knee at Teddy’s lookout in Lorne, it was very sweet and a moment I will never forget!
What was your favourite part of your wedding day?
It is hard to pick a favourite part as the entire day was perfect, but our first dance would have to be one of the most magical moments of my life. Dale had worked so hard to learn our wedding dance and I was so proud of him. I also remember taking a moment to look around the room at our reception and thinking how blessed we are to have so many wonderful people in our life. That was one of the most humbling and proudest moments I have ever experienced.
Did you have a theme or concept for your wedding day?
We got married at Fairhaven Surf Club in Aireys Inlet, so the ocean was the main feature. I am a hopeless romantic and wanted to create something personal, so I typed and printed my favourite love quotes and song lyrics on white paper and framed them in different sized gold frames. We used them as table decorations along with gold lanterns and plenty of green foliage in vases. I have kept the quotes in our wedding keepsake box to read together on our anniversary.
How did you find the experience of shopping for a wedding gown?
My experience was wonderful. I knew I had found my dress as soon as I tried it on and the service and expertise of the team at Bendigo Bridal Collections is second to none.
What did you love about your wedding gown?
I loved the lace bodice and the deep champagne colour of the dress. Every inch of my dress was stunning.
Any words of wisdom for future brides?
Keep an open mind during the wedding planning process because not everything will go to plan and sometimes the alternative option will turn out to be better than the original plan. Also, you can’t beat a live band (especially the Baker Boys Band)!!
