How did you meet your husband?

Through some good friends at the Newbridge Football and Netball club ball in 2017

How did your partner propose to you?

His original plan was to go to Mt Arapiles, for a sunset proposal but the state went into a lockdown so Corey organised a backyard picnic and bocce match.

What was your favourite part of your wedding day?

I couldn’t pick a favourite part of the day, the whole day was so much fun and special. One of my favourite things about the wedding was that the ceremony was on my parents property by the Wimmera river, which holds a lot of memories for me.

Did you have a theme or concept for your wedding day? What was your inspiration?

I didn’t really have a theme, but had a colour scheme of greens and blues to tie into where the ceremony was held. We had very relaxed cocktail style reception, which allowed everyone to mingle, have fun and dance the night away!

How did you find the experience of shopping for a wedding gown?

Overall experience of shopping for a wedding dress can be a bit overwhelming, particularly if your not sure where to start which was me, but listen to your bridal consultants and they won’t lead you astray. I had a wonderful experience shopping for a gown at Bendigo Bridal. I couldn’t recommend the service highly enough. The team is amazing and makes the day whole experience special and a lot fun.

What did you love about your wedding gown?

I loved the finer detail on my gown, the shimmer tulle, flower lace and the the pearl detail on the bodice. The dress was different to what I had previously seen and I think that’s what also attracted to my dress.

(Also loved that it passed the dance test, so I could dance the night away)

Any words of wisdom for future brides?

Enjoy the day! You put so much time and energy into organising the day make sure you truely present and don’t stress on the finer details because it goes so fast. (Everyone says that but it really does!!)
